What To Expect
Check In
Arrive at your reservation time to check in, complete your waiver, and opt in to a media package if you haven’t already. (You’re going to want that video!)
Gear Up
After a short training session, we’ll kit you out with a tandem skydiving harness, jumpsuit, and goggles. If you purchased a media package, you’ll film your pre-jump interview!
Take Off
It’s go time! In 15-20 minutes you’ll be at altitude – look around and enjoy the view! (If you’re making a High Altitude jump, at 10K feet you’ll put your O2 mask on and get ready for the thrill of your life!)
Freefall
At 12,500’ AGL (16,500’ for HALO), you’ll exit the aircraft and begin to freefall! You’ll speed through the clear-blue California sky at 120 mph for 60 (or 90!) life-changing seconds!
Canopy Flight
At 5,000 feet, your tandem instructor will deploy the parachute and you’ll float, peacefully, over the Perris Valley for 5-10 minutes. You may even get to steer the parachute!
Land
As you approach the DZ, your instructor will remind you to lift your legs for landing. You’ll slide into home base, grinning from ear to ear, in awe of what you accomplished!
Feeling Adventurous?
Your first skydive doesn’t have to be a tandem! At Skydive Perris, you can start your solo skydiving journey immediately by enrolling in the internationally-respected Perris Skydiving Program (PSP).

Skydiving Requirements
Safety is our top priority. In accordance with dropzone policy, as well as the United States Parachute Association and Federal Aviation Administration, we require all skydivers to meet strict criteria. See our Tandem Skydiving FAQs for more information.

Age
Must be at least 18. Bring valid, government-issued photo ID. No maximum age!

Weight
Cannot weigh over 240 lbs; private weigh-in at check in; over 220 lbs requires $25 fee.

Health
Must be in generally good health. See your doctor with concerns; a note may be required.

Language
Must read and speak English to complete waiver, communicate with instructors.

Time
Expect to be here 2-4 hours. Weather or other delays may extend your time with us.
