Current Licensed jumpers and those needing essential re-currency training are invited to join us.

We are offering free re-currency training on May 30 and 31.  Please email manifest@skydiveperris.com if you will be attending.

We're going to start off weekends only but expect to be adding days very shortly.

We are making plans to get our students who are in the middle of AFF and those working towards their "A" License back in the air as soon as possible.

Be sure your gear is in date and that you have money on account so that we can limit traffic in the manifest.

Aff Training Videos

AFF Level 1 Training Video

  1. Take your position in the door
  2. Check in with main side instructor
  3. Exit count – up, down, ARCH
  4. Count 4 seconds.
  5. Circle of awareness.
  6. Three practice pulls.
  7. Altitude check, report to main side.
  8. Altitude awareness and positive stability until 6,000 feet.
  9. 6,000 FT – Lock on to altimeter.
  10. 5,500 FT – Wave off.
  11. 5,000 FT - Pull.

AFF Level 2 Training Video

  1. Take your position in the door.
  2. Check in with main side instructor.
  3. Same Exit as Level 1
  4. Exit count – up, down, ARCH.
  5. Count 4 seconds.
  6. Circle of awareness.
  7. Three practice pulls.
  8. Read and report altitude.
  9. On signal, forward motion for six seconds, then back to neutral.
  10. Short COA; wait for signal.
  11. (If altitude allows, main side instructor will signal to repeat forward motion.  Second forward motion is held for four seconds).
  12. 6,000 FT – Lock on.
  13. 5,500 FT – Wave off.
  14. 5,000 FT - Pull.

AFF Level 3 Training Video

  1. Take your position in the door.
  2. Check in with main side instructor
  3. Same exit as Level I & II
  4. Exit count – up, down, ARCH.
  5. One practice pull.
  6. Circle of awareness.
  7. Reserve side instructor will release.
  8. Read and report altitude.
  9. Primary side instructor will release.
  10. Maintain heading.
  11. Read and report altitude every few seconds.
  12. 6,000 FT - Lock on.
  13. 5,500 FT – Wave off.
  14. 5,000 FT – Pull.

AFF Level 4 Training Video

  1. Take your position in the door.
  2. Check in with main side instructor.
  3. Same exit as Level I, II, & III.
  4. **No reserve side instructor**
  5. Exit count – up, down, ARCH.
  6. One practice pull.
  7. Check Altitude.
  8. Instructor releases.
  9. Turn 90° to the instructor.
  10. Check Altitude.
  11. Turn 90° the other direction.
  12. Check altitude.
  13. Repeat until 7000 ft.
  14. 6,000 FT - Lock on.
  15. 5,500 FT - Wave off.
  16. 5,000 FT - Pull.

AFF Level 5 Training Video

  1. SPOTTING – point out the landing area before exiting.
  2. Wait for instructor to get grips and & signal ok.
  3. Exit count - up, down, ARCH.
  4. One practice pull.
  5. Instructor will release when proper neutral body position is achieved.
  6. Instructor moves in front of you.
  7. Hold heading.
  8. Wait for turn signal.
  9. Turn 180°, stop, check altitude.
  10. Turn 180° back to face instructor.
  11. Check altitude.
  12. Instructor signals forward motion.
  13. Forward motion & check altitude.
  14. If above 7,000 ft., instructor signals turn.
  15. Turn 360° and face off with instructor.
  16. Check altitude.
  17. 6,000 FT - Lock on.
  18. 5,000 FT - Double wave off (checking left and right to make sure you are clear)
  19. NEW PULL ALTITUDE - 4,500 FT - Pull.

AFF Level 6 Training Video

  1. Spotting – point out the landing area before exiting.
  2. UNSTABLE EXIT – Instructor pushes student out of the plane.
  3. Hold for 3 – 5 seconds.
  4. Explode into an arch and get stable
  5. Altitude check.
  6. Practice pull.
  7. Instructor signals direction of delta track.
  8. Student tracks for 8 – 10 seconds.
  9. 360° turn if above 7,000ft.
  10. 6,000 FT – Signal no more maneuvers.
  11. 4,500 FT – Wave off (signal twice looking left and right) and pull.

AFF Level 7 Training Video

  1. Spotting – point out the landing area before exiting.
  2. DIVE EXIT – Take your position and give the exit count.
  3. Practice pull.
  4. Check altitude.
  5. Barrel roll.
  6. Altitude check.
  7. 360° turn to left
  8. Altitude check.
  9. 360° turn to right
  10. Altitude check
  11. More 360° turns if time
  12. 6,500 FT – Turn 180° from the center of the formation and delta track for 5 seconds.
  13. 4,500 FT – Wave off (signal twice looking left and right) and pull.
