A-License Skydiving Trip Package

Two weeks to get your A-License

This is it; you made your decision: you want to become a licensed skydiver. However, maybe you live too far from a skydiving center to drive back and forth, or it rains all the time in your state (or country). Or maybe you need a vacation and tanning on the beach while drinking Pina Coladas is not really your style. Well, worry not, at Skydive Perris, we've got you covered!

The All-Inclusive Package

All you need to do is get here. Once on our dropzone, you can sleep, eat, skydive, and repeat for 2 weeks. We designed this package in a way that (unless there is unusual bad weather) you should be able to arrive here as a non-jumper (a 'whuffo' in skydiving jargon) and leave as a licensed skydiver 14 days later. This package is subject to change as we update our program.

So how does it work?

Day 1 - Arrival Day: Take the day to orient yourself and get familiar with the dropzone.  You will retrieve your key to the bunkhouse, grab your gift cards from the Bombshelter (restaurant) and GSG (Gear store), get settled, relax by the pool (with or without Pina Coladas) and start making new friends.

Day 2 : FJC and AFF Level 1: You will start the day early and attend your First Jump Course (a ground class, during which you’ll learn everything you will need to know about your first jump) and start your AFF (Accelerated Free Fall) course right after! (Weather allowing)

Days 3-14:  AFF Levels 2-7, coach jumps level 1-5, Phase 2 coach jumps (optional, but included in your package), solo jumps, packing class, USPA test... and congratulations! You are a skydiver!

Skydiving Trip FAQS

When booking your arrival date, here are two things you should consider:

1- Our skydiving school is closed on Tuesdays. You will need an instructor to accompany you until you reach your AFF Level 7 and are 'cleared for solos'. After that, you can jump any day of the week. For this reason, we do not offer this package on Mondays.

2- You will get an extra $50 discount if you attend your First Jump Course on a Friday through Sunday (in other words, if you arrive here on a Thursday through Saturday)

Right here on the dropzone! We have a bunkhouse with 12 beds, a small kitchen, with showers and restrooms on site. There is no better way to wake up than to the sound of airplane props spinning!

*NOTE: there will be a refundable $20 key deposit when you arrive.

At the beginning of your stay, you will receive a $300 Bombshelter card. That card will allow you to buy anything you want at our on-site restaurant and bar The Bombshelter with a 10% discount. The Bombshelter opens at 8AM on weekdays and 7AM on weekends. Be advised that it closes early on weekdays, so make sure you get a to-go box for your dinner!

NOTE: There is a 2.5% fee ($7.50) associated with that card

Repeat levels are not included in this package. You would have to pay for it on the day of. Your package allows you to get a 10% discount on those repeat jumps.

Yes and No. We provide the gear for you all the way through your AFF Level 7. After you have graduated from AFF, you will have to rent gear for your proceeding jumps (solos, hop 'n Pop, coach jumps, phase 2 coach jumps), but we worked out a deal with our on-site pro-shop Gold State Gear just for you! The beginning of your stay, you will receive a $1,000 GSG Card. This card allows you to rent skydiving gear from them at the special rate of $99+tax/day. The regular price is $125+tax/day, so that's quite a discount! If for any reason, you didn't get to use it all by the time your trip ends, you can either keep it for another time, or spend the remaining amount to buy apparel, accessories, anything in the store at regular price.

If for whatever reason you can't finish your A-license before the end of your trip, you have two options: either you get a refund from the school for your remaining jumps (you would lose their up to $200 discount in the process), or you leave the money on account and come back at a later time to finish it.

The Bombshelter and GSG cards are not refundable, but they don't expire either.

Yes, this package is fully customizable. Just select option Skydive+Eat or Skydive+Sleep when you book your Skydiving Trip package.

Yes! However, you wouldn't get the $200 discount for the A-License portion of the package. Please contact us to work out the specifics.

It happens! We would refund you of course, and how much would depend on when you make that decision.

Skydiving is a dangerous sport. We definitely encourage you to get insured before your start your A-License. If you are traveling from abroad, look for travel insurance packages, and make sure they include skydiving as a covered activity.
