Freefly Big Way Camp January 22nd-24th

This will be the first of 3 camps, leading to the California State Freefly Record event. The record itself will be held in late summer/fall 2010 at Skydive Perris. The goal is at least a 60-way. Details on all the events will be forthcoming. For now, save the dates of Jan. 22 through Jan. 24 at Skydive Perris.

You can register online with a credit card or paypal at www.elementsofflight.com. Unfortunately, to offset costs charged to us by paypal, we have to add a $20 service fee. This service fee can be avoided by sending a check in lieu of registering electronically. A third option, if you are local, is to drop off cash or a check in person to Travis Fienhage at Perris Valley skydiving. Email elementsofflight@gmail.com if you'd like to set up this option.

Your coaches are all 3 members of SoCal Converge (Andy Malchiodi, Travis Fienhage, and Matt Lewis) and David Gershfeld. Your videographers will be Craig O'brien and Iwan Van Der Schoor. And yes, "all-inclusive" means $495 includes your jumps AND your registration.

Surf is UP at the Perris Pond!

After months of digging and filling, the pond at Skydive Perris is now open! The 220'x220' pond area has had a complete overhaul. The banks have been graded for a gradual exit slope. All of the reeds and other plant life have been cleared away. A zone accuracy course has been set up for training. And all the dirt around the pond and the exit lane has been tilled for soft, smooth landings.

If you are in need of canopy coaching, or are not a swooper and want to get in the pond, contact our canopy coaches for some training and join in the fun.
